We're not just any production company. We're run by a highly experienced team with the skills you need to bring any idea to life. Our full production support includes:
Expert location scouting: for locations that are visually spectacular and logistically viable, look no further than our location scouts. They're not just seasoned film pros, but Namibians with unbeatable local knowledge.
Attention to Detail... always
Casting services: whether it's a spotted hyena or a plain old human, our casting directors will find the face you're looking for. Trained animal wranglers make sure everyone behaves (even the stunt men).
Administrative and legal requirements: filming permission, work visas... we don't cut corners, but we do cut red tape.
Location permits and greener filming: we never argue with Mother Nature. Namibia is dedicated to preserving its natural heritage. We ensure that all regulations are clearly stipulated and followed - helping keep our pristine locations just so.
Catering: (warning: weight gain). Schnitzel in the savannah? Calamari in the Caprivi? Choose from full on-set catering services or delicious packs on-the-go. You'll enjoy five-star cuisine under our billion-star skies.
Unit support: comprehensive unit packages are available, and can be modified to suit any location.
Vehicle rentals: zippy quad bike? Tough 4x4? Or luxurious German engineering? We'll sort out every transport need, and provide expert drivers.
Film equipment: we'll make sure it's all available, hassle-free. Basic camera, grips and lighting packages are available in Namibia. We can organise additional equipment from South Africa or abroad. We'll also take care of the pesky ATA carnets required to bring your equipment into Namibia.
Never a shortage of props.
Accommodation to suit you: whether it's the Hilton or a hill top, we'll find what you're looking for. Our accommodation options meet every budget and requirement.
Animal Action:
If your production calls for breathtaking landscapes, a unique culture or an abundance of truly Namibian wildlife... then look no further than N/a'an ku se Wildlife Sanctuary.
Conveniently located just 45 minutes from Namibia's capital city, Windhoek, this film friendly wildlife sanctuary is guaranteed to provide both the perfect backdrop and the perfect animal stars for any production:

We at Desert Rain Films just couldn't resist adopting little Violet, a two week old baby baboon whose mother was tragically killed. The angels at N/a'an ku se stepped in right away and our adorable Violet is thriving well. She loves her bottle, has become quite a little pool hustler and will soon be able to join the established baboon troops at N/a'an ku se.
Always included: plenty of sunshine, and service with a smile. And we never stop trying to be even better.
